Shehan Jeyarajah is an award-winning sports writer who works as a National College Football Writer at CBS Sports. He serves as President of the Football Writer's Association of America, on the board AAJA Texas, votes on most college football awards and is one of 18 FWAA All-America selectors.

He has established himself as a leading writer and multimedia talent in the field with his combination of national insight and Texas roots. Among his top stories include a feature of Texas Tech's All-In swing on NIL, a profile of how small college coaches like Kalen DeBoer have reached FBS prominence and how programs are handling new challenges like transfer portal recruiting and helmet communications.

Jeyarajah won the Edward Aschoff Rising Star Award in 2025 and has captured three victories in the FWAA Best Writing Contest. He won first place for his enterprise collaboration with Dennis Dodd on the future of college football in 2023. Jeyarajah was also honored as Outstanding Young Alumni by the Baylor Line Foundation in 2021.
